Marijuana is medicinally and recreationally legal. Medical patients must pay the standard sales tax, but are exempt from the additional excise and state taxes that apply to recreational sales. Medical patients can purchase from state licensed dispensaries or cultivate at home. Recreational users are not permitted to cultivate at home and must purchase from a state licensed dispensary.
