As of May 2023, the Alabama medial marijuana program is still launching and there are no active patients or cardholders. However, Delta 8 and Delta 10 that are cultivated from legal hemp are federally legal.

Qualifying conditions for medicinal marijuana:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder

• Cancer related cachexia, nausea or vomiting, weight loss, chronic pain

• Crohn's Disease

• Depression

• Epilepsy or a condition causing seizures

• HIV/AIDS - related nausea or weight loss

• Panic Disorder

• Parkinson's Disease 

• Peresistent nausea

• PTSD 

• Sickle Cell Anemia

• Spasticity due to Multiple Sclerosis or spinal cord injury

• A terminal illness

• Tourette's Syndrome

• Condition causing chronic or intractable pain
